You might be surprised to see a great amount of hair over her body. And the gelatin like texture of her skin and the quite visible veins on her hands. You will also notice how small she is, how the diaper almost covers her entire body.

She was born preterm at 30 weeks and she weighed only 800gm (0.8kg or 1.7lbs). I took care of her for 2months and the good thing about her story is that she survived! Shes a Champion!

There is no greater gift that a person can give, than the gift of life. Saving lives is a doctor’s common dogma, you may not have physically donated your vital parts to help her underdeveloped organs function well but I can imagine that your heart is now beating in her body which enables her see the eyes and smiles of her parents. The caption is appropriate because she pursued to live to wrestle the challenges and dangers of this world and for sure she will always emerge as a champion. Galing mo!
